Recycling Today to Help Protect Tomorrow

Where Do Your Clothes Go?

Over 50 billion garments end up in landfills every year in the US. Even though companies like Goodwill and Salvation Army, and other recycling companies like us, offer collection locations to gather unwanted clothing, approximately 80-85% of all clothing, textiles, shoes, and purses end up in landfills.

By working together,  we can all do our part to help reuse and repurpose our unwanted clothing and textiles.

The good news is that over 90% of clothing, shoes, purses, and belts can be used in some form or fashion. They can be resold on the used market, made into rags, or broken down back into usable fiber to make fabric for industrial rags for insulation.

Recycling clothes plays a crucial role in mitigating the environmental impact of the fashion industry. By diverting textiles from landfills, we significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Decomposing textiles releases methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Recycling prevents this release.

Unwanted Clothing?

New Season Recycling is here to help you responsibly dispose your unwanted clothing. We use our metal collection bins to collect unwanted clothing, purses, belts, and shoes. We work with several companies that take your unwanted items and repurpose them into their highest and best use.

We keep our bins clean, serviced, regularly emptied, and looking good. We take pride in the fact that we are providing a needed service that benefits the environment.

Giving Back

We Care

Yes we are a for-profit corporation but we also believe in giving back. We partner with our local church as well as other organizations like Hospice and The Joshua House. You don't have to be a 501-C3 to help the needy and we believe in helping others. It is our desire as our company grows, we want to step up more and more to help these organizations. We believe in community and we want you to know we want to do our part.

Hospice

Every one of us knows someone who has benefited from the loving care that Hospice provides. They are there in the toughest of times and we want to use part of the profits we receive to bless those who bless so many.

Hospice care offers numerous benefits, including symptom and pain management, emotional and spiritual support for both patients and families, and the option to remain at home if desired. It also provides peace of mind through 24/7 on-call support and helps families cope with grief and loss. Hospice care aims to improve quality of life during the end-of-life journey, focusing on comfort, dignity, and respecting the individual's choices.

The Joshua House

Joshua House is a safe haven for these abused, abandoned, and neglected children, offering a therapeutic residential group care program that provides a protected, nurturing, family-like environment for children six – seventeen. These children have been removed from their homes due to crisis and many have been through multiple foster homes.

Hundreds of children have passed through Joshua House since it opened. Each story of abuse and neglect is as unique as the child’s. With five homes on 11 acres, Joshua House promotes growth, stability, and support specific to each child’s needs. Keeping sibling groups together is just one of the many ways Joshua House makes a difference.
